Blood is the New Black encourages the public to explore current art and design trends by prominently featuring the artists' work on their wearable line of products. Devotedly curated owner Mitra Khayyam has a knack for discovering and linking a new culture of emerging artists. Their defining characteristics include graphic, illustrative and photographic styles combined with a grungy DIY attitude. BITNB offers their conclusions unedited allowing the audience to participate in and wear something as real and raw as the artist intended. The BITNB five year anniversary provides us the perfect opportunity expand on this philosophy by organizing a gallery exhibition of the artists that have contributed to their success. We are excited to bring such a diverse level of talent together and we're positive that the results will bear out our exhilaration.
