Shabazz Palaces' record Black Up was a bit of a divider, but I still think they are incredible.
Here's their video for 'Are You... Can You... Were You? (Felt)':
We love - we hate, we live -we learn, and sometimes we yearn for real music. Music by a group of people who spend the majority of their time together making tremendous music that has to pour from their souls. The Montrealers Code Pie was first spotted by moi at the French site Les in Rocks.
Description: Magic on Fire in a whirlwind of contentment.

If you were Johnny Young of Young Talent Time (or perhaps, a show/production company/record label that has a little more credibility) and you came across an amazing Icelandic band, what would you call them?
Yes, we often think about stuff like this.
Sigur Ros and French director Vincent Morriset have collaborated for
InnI which includes live footage from the last two live performances from the band before their indefinite touring hiatus. :(
If you have a really good idea for a band name, send it through to
comps@lifelounge.com and you could be the proud owner of one of three Sigur Ros prize packs including three (three!) 12", two CDs and a DVD.
(Don't forget to include your postal address!)
