The classic colourway is BACK! I have been itching to get these kicks on my feet for a while now, and it seems that the planets have finally aligned and my feet will yearn no more. Available today from 21 Mercer and around the USA over the next week, they are sure to bring smiles.

Here's a surprise, I was MASSIVELY into RC cars as a kid. Here's a bigger surprise, I still am kinda... The Clod Buster was first released on September 21, 1987 by Tamiya. This was also around the same time I was into
BMXs (something about that period me thinks). I of course could never afford one, but man as a kid this was the height of 80s amazement; The real
Bigfoot monster truck was crushing cars, Eddie Fiola was a stunt double in
Rad, and Rob Lowe was my idol (kinda still is in that role) in
Youngblood. What a time to be passionate about STUFF.
Anyhow, skip a couple of years forward, and I find the Tamiya Clod Buster Junior from 1988 on ebay for $9.99 with no bids. There was NO WAY I was no going to grab that to have at work too cool! Granted I built her in about 20mins last night, also didn't paint yet. But have a look at the 22 year old goodness below.
Rad.
If you want all the info on the 1/10 scale and the history of the Clod Buster, check the
Wiki.

You know I respect and love Dyson for the innovation and pure industrial design values that they are bestowed upon the world. Hell, I even own one of course, they are great. But you know what? There is still one fatal flaw of a Dyson vacuum, and that is the fact that I STILL HAVE TO DO THE VACUUMING.
Someone heard my screams over at Samsung, SRSLY. I got a media release from them the other day, instantly forwarded it to my significant other, and said that we need one of these immediately.
Think fifth element in Zorg's office when he casually pushed the glass off the table, and bots automatically get deployed to clean up. This is a world I want, no I demand we live in. I mean it's 2010 for God's sake, when the heck did it take so long to get this in the first place???
Anyhow, the features of this baby are that it's completely automatic, as in, you do not have to do anything, even be there, it can do it during the day when you are at work, and as they say in the release "This small but mighty device is capable of moving in complete autonomy over multiple surfaces in the home including carpets, rugs, wooden floors and tiles – scooping up everything from fluff and dust, to everyday dirt, crumbs and animal hair."
SOLD.
Get one for $799 for the base up to $999 for the top of the range. Out at the end of this month.
