Long Island-born Zachary Zezima has lived in New York, Italy and Japan and – apart from obviously knowing how to make some pretty amazing artwork – knows how to write a biography. Zezima says he "believes in the fleeting power and beauty of completely handmade objects and artwork". Well said. He also likes "trying new things as long as they don't concern aliens, sharks, tsunamis, spiders, botulism or seafood" and has a television called Victor.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Parsons School of Design, Zezima's artworks vary from the gloomy, macabre portraits to sweet, floral landscapes. Dude has skills.
