German design studio diefabrik are reminding us of a simpler time. A time when music was loud and when it came to equipment, the bigger the better (well that's what we've ascertained from
Almost Famous).
The Tombox celebrates the simple design of portable speakers from the past, with today's technology. Discarded speakers are given a second chance when their innards are replaced with something more modern, like a rechargeable battery and mp3 cables.
