Lost art of the film poster
A monster of a collaborative project, Wearitwithpride invited over 40 creatives from around the world to give their own interpretation of cult, classic or obscure film posters from the past. The artists were all given freedom to work alone or in pairs and free reign over a literal or abstract interpretation of the original. The artists involved include Nathan Fox, Hellovon, Cody Hudson, Mario Hugo, Emily Forgot, Tomer Hanuka and more. The results are in a word stunning, paying homage to more than 70 years of film wiith limited edition giclee prints and one off screen prints and sculptures available for purchase.

Check out some samples from the series to the right of this post and for more information or to own one of these beautiful prints visit Wearitwithpride.com

it's a shame that film studios don't pay as much attention to design detail as they used to with film posters... these days, the majority are so formulaic and uninspiring, nothing like the posters of the 60s and 70s (pre computers, set by hand etc..). The original posters for most of these films were amazing too but these are a refreshing take on them... good to see, awesome stuff.
