What is a logical theme for a French collective of artists to paste around the walls and streets of Paris? Hip hop artists from the USA, obviously.
The Dude Company covers French walls (and in other countries, admittedly) with stencils and pastes of Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu, ?uestlove and lots of other recent icons of hip hop culture, and while their works might not be the most revolutionary aesthetically (they are very simple stencil portraits) it's nice to see faces rather than bricks most times. Or do you disagree? Is it a case of too many cooks spoiling the street art broth?
