Maybe it's best to admit up-front that we're a little confused about Flying Fortress. We understand that we're supposed to write from an authoritative stand-point, but this time... well, we just can't. And we're sorry. And we'll buy you an iced donut to make up for it*.

Flying Fortress seems to be a Germann-based artist (but could also be from Austria, apparently) who's been part of the worldwide street art culture for a very long time. Because of his highly recognisable name and style, Flying Fortress's home turf is probably irrelevant.

Super bright, cartoonish, fun and a little retro, his work dons gallery walls, store-fronts, fences and everything in-between all over the globe, from New York City to Munich to Auckland. FF has mastered a lot of different techniques, so his creations are varied, yet maintain a strong personal style and tone.

*Not really.
