Born in Aomori, Japan but now based in Los Angeles, painter and illustrator Misato Suzuki creates some of the prettiest artworks that might make you feel like the world is an OK place after all.
She has a Masters in fine arts and has been featured in a bunch of (solo and group) exhibitions all over the US and Japan. She has quite a gentle, sincere and warm feeling in her creations; she even portrays pigeons so they seem more adorable-cuddly-friends and less rodents-with-wings. And that's not easy to do.
If you live in the LA area, you can see her artworks in her
Unknown Quantities exhibition at the Sam Lee Gallery until the 12th July. If not, enjoy a few of her many pretty pieces in the attached gallery.
