Eating human flesh is something that I never hope to do. If I ever had to choose between eating shit and eating somebody’s severed hand, I may or may not contemplate selecting the former.
Thai artist Kittiwat Unarrom has made any potential decisions slightly easier, seeing as though the body parts he’s been selling at his family’s bakery for the past few years taste like bread. That’s primarily because that’s exactly what they are.
The Body Bakery in Ratchaburi sells arms, heads, feet and internal organs strung up on meat hooks that Unarrom has crafted out of dough. They look disturbingly lifelike and even though they’re made out of bread, chocolate, raisins and cashews, the thought of eating any of his creations still makes me want to vom. A testament to his craftsmanship, perhaps?
