Konstantin Datz is a 24 year old student from Berlin, who one day decided to make a Rubiks Cube for blind people. Sounds impossible, right?
He began with creating creating tabs embossed with the braille of each of the Rubiks colours, then peeled off the colour stickers and replaced them with his own (look through the gallery above for further explanation of the process). Datz explains that "this concept of the Rubik Cube is an attempt to adjust this timeless toy to the needs of blind persons - it allows them to "feel" the colors".
The simplest ideas are always the most brilliant.
