If it hasn't become apparent before now, we really love interesting
movie posters. Those handsome devils at Phantom City Creative have tickled our fancy with their retro film inspired illustrations, featuring
Gremlins 2,
Cabin in the Woods and everyone's favourite, the
Back to the Future trilogy.
The story goes that the Toronto based studio was founded on "a stormy Friday the 13th" when Justin Erickson and Paige Reynolds combined their awesome powers of art and extensive pop culture knowledge to create posters for movies new and old.
Basically we love them for giving props to the 1972 masterpiece
Conquest of the Apes, officially the dumbest/best film in the Apes series where "man versus ape in the ultimate revolution".
