No one gets proper mail these days. It’s all bills, menus for the local Chinese takeaway and dead insects. A world of suck. Japan’s Junzo Terada is doing his bit to change that, turning your otherwise dreary mailbox into a magical world of puppies and pandas.
The illustrator/designer has just released a book of postcards, Happy Animal Time, featuring his super cutesy, distinct style. Idea is you scribble some nonsense on the back, send them out and make the world a nicer, shinier place.
While Happy Animal Time is his latest project, Junzo has several books to his name and an entire line of fabrics and patterns up on places like Superbuzzy. We’re suckers for twee Japanese design and pandas playing the piano so his stuff is like [insert something awesome] + [something else awesome] rolled into one. Um, kittens drunk on scotch?
