Sam Thomas would have been one of those kids who was really good at geometry, and would rule his shapes perfectly every time. Usually those kids are annoying and enviable, however Sam's illustrations make him seem not so bad. Stay in school, kids!
From layered hand-drawn illustrations that are perfectly symmetrical, to chaotic sketches that look like a page torn from a cartoonist's notebook, the Sydney-based artist seems to be inspired by everything from celebrity mug-shots, to old Native American imagery and skulls and bones. His drawing of wildlife is particularly beautiful, but really what's there not to like! Make us some more, pls.
