Artists Victoria Lucas and Richard William Wheater decided to create a neon sign for the roof of their West Yorkshire studio. No big deal, right? Well instead of just settling on one they constructed a different sign every month for a year, each with a different love song lyric.
The signs were an experimentation in time, connecting with people through memory and taking them back to the more lovey-dovey times in their life– for the better or worse. The artists have recently created a book about the experience called
12 Months of Love, with photos of the various signs.
