Nate Frizzell, a Californian born and raised, took us on a guided tour through Imagination Land – it's a little bit whimsical and childlike but also a teensy bit sinister too so make sure you stay close to your buddy.
Frizzell's artworks tread a clever line between the highbrow and lowbrow; his pieces often have playful and weird subjects but are beautifully constructed. The kid with the paper bag on his head gives us the creeps and the sads and we're not sure why.
