For me , San Francisco artist Matt Furie's illustrations seem to have
all the right ingredients. There's plenty of colour, monsters in
sneakers, pop villains as father figures, BMX, sex, burgers and
mastermind owls... Pretty much perfect. The recurring characters of outcasts, freaks, monsters and hybrid animals co exist in a happy melting pot of rainbows and
good times. I like a lot.
