Michel Gourdon drew damsels in distress, guys with guns and everyone else wrapped in bedsheets. The French illustrator made cover art for pulp fiction novels from the 1940s to the 70s, pumping out pieces as quickly as the novels were written.
Gourdon's pieces may have been attached to some pretty disposable product, but there's something about them (possibly that kitschy cover art isn't really around anymore) that has definitely stood the test of time.
