21-year-old Maarten Donders is a Netherlands-based artist whose works appear childlike, naive and simple but when you look closer you'll see ominous complexities that aren't noticed at first glance. Brights and darks clash all over his work and his figures are sometimes a bit crudely drawn but maintain a charm and thoughtfulness still.
Unfortunately, unless you can speak Dutch, Googling Donders might not be all that helpful. But give it a try anyway.
