The very talented Kristina Collantes makes Gangrene beautiful. Really. Her detailed illustrations and textiles look so sweet and edible you'd never believe some of the artworks are entitled 'Capillaries' and 'Gangrene'.
Collantes, a 21-year-old from San Diego, has skills to make simple circles interesting and skulls hug-able. She's worked with clothing designers, made album covers, advertising posters and textile designs. The clever cookie has also designed a bunch of wallpapers for Kitsune Noir's wonderful wallpaper project. We can only hope for real wallpapers next.
