They don't look hand-drawn, do they? There are. Kosuke Ikeda creates some pretty incredible works of art using just paper and gel ballpoint pens.
Kyoto-based Ikeda's illustrations are mostly streetscapes and portraits of women but you'd be forgiven if it takes you a while to figure it out. The artworks are so close perfect that it's hard to believe a normal human person made them. The simple subjects are given amazing depth through the patterns and detail.
Meanwhile, he only started drawing in 1999. Impressed much?
