If you've not had the pleasure before allow me to introduce you to the colourful works of Chicago based designer Joe Van Wetering. You may have seen some samples of his work on tee-shirt design super-community Threadless, but if not here's a little snapshot of some of his design pieces.

He has an amazing confidence with colour, combining the brightest of bright in geometric bands that in theory, probably shouldn't work, but strangely do. Although not as detailed, his choice of palette reminds me of the beautiful sculptural works of Jen Stark. I dig.

Anyway check some samples of his design work to the right of this post and for more visit joevw.com.
