John Ryan Solis is a Brooklyn-based illustrator who seems a little fascinated by the female form, flowers and gore.
His diverse, beautiful, and layered artworks are often romantic but sometimes have a sinister or weird tinge – women without faces, beauties with exposed innards and mutant animal/ladies. Sometimes deadly serious and sometimes tongue-in-cheek, Solis's illustrations are always a treat.
Solis works for design studio Vault48 and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Illustration just last year.
