Face tattoos are the ultimate ink commitment, right? There is no covering that shit with long pants, a jumper or a well placed band-aid, face tattoos scream "Here I am effers! LOOK AT ME!". That's probably why when Jean-Luc Moerman tattoos celebrities faces he only uses a Sharpie (and photos of their faces instead of their actual faces).
The Belgium-based artist takes images of models and actors from fashion spreads and advertisements and inks 'em up real nice– think Audurey Hepburn with a full back tatt and Mark Zuckerburg sporting a traditional Maori looking face design. Not only are they funny but Moerman has some definite skill, he has exhibited his fine art paintings and sculpture across the world and has been commissioned for pieces by big dogs like Longchamp.
