Everyone knows that you should treat toys with respect. Otherwise they come to life during the night, and rip your face off while you're sleeping, right? Jason Freeny clearly didn't get this memo.
The Manhattan based artist buys 18 inch Lego toys, cuts them in half, and then creates their innards with painted foam. Documenting the process via hs Facebook page, Freeny creates weird and awesome dissected figures from a range of toys (we've included his creepy Kewpie doll in the gallery).
Funnily enough, Freeny was actually a toy designer for a short while, but we don't think kiddies would have much appreciated his love for the undead.
