Herbert Loureiro's creative strengths span all kinds of media. The Brazil-based co-owner of Estudio Alba, Loureiro works as a fine artist, director, and photographer – and doesn't seem to be lacking in any one talent.
His messy, scribbly illustration style is a little childlike, but a lot meticulous. (It's all composed perfectly.) And it's easy to see that his is a mind chockers with weird and wonderful characters, critters and worlds – his Barbie doll series is evident of that; who knew a bunch of dolls, some metallic ribbon and a bunch of sequins could be so fun? Oh, wait.
