There are few universal truths that I believe to be sacred. One of them is that there's nothing much cuter than a half-collage, half-illustration kitty. Gemma Correll's artworks, which are often mixtures of illustration, collage and print, feature all kinds of funny creatures; hybrid cats, angsty teens, and kooky misfits.
Norwich-based Correll also works with plush toys and textiles and likes to translate Disney songs into German. Who doesn't? Her work has appeared in magazines like Walrus, Orange and Threadless, lots of exhibitions, and she's wouldn't say no to a craft fair either.
