Eugene Plotnikov is an illustrator from Melbourne who has built up some serious skills in his 18 years. Yes, this artist was born in 1992. That's not very long ago.
The artist finished high school last year, and kept his followers updated via his blog, where he explains all kinds of bits and pieces about himself in tidbits alongside his artworks. For instance, he's a Richard Dawkins fan, enjoys working with Poscas, plays the drums, and is partial to a cup of tea.
His illustrations often depict lovable mutants – slightly deformed and a little scary – whose personalities are evident through the fabulous detail. They are endearingly frightening and sweetly odd.
