After running away from home at the ripe old age of 13 or 14 Dash Snow lived on
the streets of New York and began taking photographs as a means of
remembering the places that he mightn't be able to the following day.
His confronting photos often depicts scenes riddled with the sex,
drugs, violence and decadence associated with the lifestyles of NYC's
young artists with a tone and themes quite similar to that of
photographers such as Ryan McGinely and Larry Clark.
I've alway been a fan of the proportion, the framing, the grain and the
unpredictability of colour with polaroid film. The illicit nature of
Snow's work really suits the medium I think. To see some samples of his
polaroids check the images to the right of this post -----> and for

On a side note Dash Snow is apparently the half brother of Uma Thurman. Small world.
