Charlie Immer isn't as sweet as he seems

Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Charlie Immer combines the sickly sweet with the just plain sick. Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, he's been busy making us "ewwww" and "aah" over his candy-coloured scenes that are either of sweet little critters or of sweet little critters pulling each-others' guts, gore, brains and skeletons out.

Immer has exhibited his work all over the US and recently took part in the Crazy 4 Cult show in Los Angeles with his very scary zombie artwork.
