Beautiful Losers is an amazingly diverse exhibition organised by Iconoclast USA. The exhibition includes sculptures, installations, photography, painting, film, and performance, showcasing works by artists who have mostly emerged from (sub)cultures such as skateboarding, graffiti, punk, and hip hop.
The Beautiful Losers first exhibition was in 2004 in Cincinnati, travels around the US and also went to Europe, Asia and Australia last year. Well known artists like Spike Jonze, Shepard Fairey, and KAWS are involved in this most recent Beautiful Losers, along with some artists who have found their first taste of exposure and recognition through being involved.
