It's almost as if Jim's
skullptures belong on the set of an Indian
Jones film or as a background ornament in a tribal barbarian's lair. We
know nothing more of the skull master who goes by the name of Jim other
than he hails from the French Polynesian paradise of Koumac in New
Caledonia and has had a thing for creating beautifully intricate
interpretations of skulls since 1980. Coming in all shapes, sizes,
patterns and colours his predominantly (what appears to be) twine
sculptures are creepy as hell but amazing all the same.
