For too long the name Ronald has been tainted by a certain earth raping
burger clown but thankfully LA based painter/creative
genius Ronald Kurniawan is doing his bit for the
reputation of Ronald's worldwide. His style shares some similarities
with the likes of Jeff Soto but what I find particularly interesting
about his pieces is his almost humorous integration of characterised
letterforms with robots and bizarre creatures in surreal landscapes. He
has a great use of colour and composition and as may have mentioned in the past is just pretty much RAD in all senses of the word.
