Comprised of an architect, a civil engineer, a publicist and some fine arts grads, Portugese urban artist collective Boa Mistura make it their business to produce bold, socially conscious art.
Their collaborations with Oxfam, the Red Cross, ONCE and other such awesome organisations have seen Boa Mistura ('good mix' in Portugese) spread their love across multiple continents, including this one in South America.
Using typography and anamorphism as their form, the Mistura crew hit up a small suburb in Sao Paulo with a heap of paint and positive messages (beleza (beauty), orgulho (pride), doçura (sweetness), firmeza (firmness), amor (love)). The result is a series of bright, colourful and inspiring outdoor art works that not only serve to turn a smile on the local's faces, but act as a lasting reminder of good will.
