Smashed, cracked, graffitied, dirty, smelly; all fitting words to describe what we know as urban phone booths. However, Brazilian telco firm Vivo are making it their aim to change this perception through the ongoing public art project entitled Call Parade. The project sees 100 artists paired with 100 of Sao Paulo's bubble-like pay phones, transforming them into brightly coloured, uniquely imagined pieces of interactive street art.
